Juanita Cuéllar Benavides

Juanita Cuéllar Benavides holds a PhD in Social Sciences in Development, Agriculture and Society from the Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ.) She also has a degree in Political Science from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia (2006) and a Master of Social Sciences from the UFRRJ. She is a member of the Studies Group on Discourse at UFRRJ. Her main interests are the topics of access to land and agrarian reform from a Latin American perspective. She is currently professor at the Universidade Federal de Uberlandia. She is member of the Justice Forum Project.

REPORT | 1° AJA Discussion Round: Mexican Innovations in Access to Justice

On October 14, 2021, occurred the 1°  “AJA Discussion Rounds” meeting. Actions and strategies to democratize access to justice from Mexico were the theme of the debate, called “Mexican Innovations in Access to Justice”, which was streamed on the Justice Forum’s (FJ) Youtube Channel in Spanish, and counted on the participation of Lucero Ibarra (CIDE-Mexico), Marina Corrêa (UNAM), and the president of the Institute Cultura DH, Rosy Laura Castellanos. The moderators were the members of the Justice Forum Project, Juanita Cuéllar and Vinícius Alves.
