The video is the second of a series of audiovisual productions that aim to introduce the authors and the abstracts of their articles published in the e-book “Access to Justice in the Americas”, which contains articles in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.
In this video, the Federal Public Defender of Rio de Janeiro, Bernard Reis, tells us about the disputes fought by constituent legislators of 1988 over the public policy of access to justice, and that established the national configuration of the Public Defender’s Office as we know it today. The video has subtitles in English, Portuguese, French and Spanish.
